Volkswagen Group of America – Loose Retaining Ring May Cause Dislodged Air Strut

Volkswagen Group of America (Audi) is recalling certain 2022 Audi E-Tron GT vehicles. A retaining ring on top of the suspension strut may come loose, resulting air loss from the strut spring.

Consequence Summary An air suspension strut failure may cause a loss of vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action Dealers will inspect the suspension strut and replace it, if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed February 10, 2023. Owners may contact Audi's customer service at 1-800-253-2834. Audi's number for this recall is 42M4.
