Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing – Loss of Drive Power from Damaged Wire Harness

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2025 Lexus UX300h vehicles. Certain wires in the engine room wire harness that supply power to the motor generator electronic control unit (MG ECU) may become fractured and separate, which can result in a loss of power.

Consequence Summary A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action Dealers will replace the engine room main wire harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 23, 2024. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 24LB07 and 24LA07.
