Tesla – Unintended Acceleration from Trapped Pedal

Tesla (Tesla) is recalling certain 2024 Cybertruck vehicles. The accelerator pedal pad may dislodge and cause the pedal to become trapped by the interior trim.

Consequence Summary A trapped accelerator pedal can cause the vehicle to accelerate unintentionallyeasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action Tesla service will replace or repair the accelerator pedal assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed in June 2024. Owners may contact Tesla customer service at 1-877-798-3752. Tesla's number for this recall is SB-24-33-003.
