Porsche North America – Rearview Camera Image May Not Display

Porsche Cars North America (Porsche) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Macan Electric vehicles. The rearview camera may show a blurry image or fail to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, “Rear Visibility.”

Consequence Summary A rearview camera that does not display an image decreases the driver's visibilityeasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action Dealers will update the control unit software, inspect, and replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 6, 2025. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is ASA3.
