Nissan North America (Nissan) is recalling certain 2015-2018 Nissan Murano, 2016-2018 Nissan Maxima, and 2017-2019 Nissan Pathfinder and Infiniti QX60 vehicles. These vehicles were previously recalled and unrepaired, or inspected and determined to not need a repair, under recall number 18V-601. In addition, this recall expands the previous population. What the owner should do?
You can check if your specific car is affected by a recall by entering your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the NHTSA website. The VIN is a unique code that identifies your vehicle and can be found on your car's registration, insurance documents, or near the base of the windshield on the driver's side.
If the recall involves your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.
This notification is purely informative for the vehicle type you have selected. As these deficiencies often relate to specific components (engine type, bodywork, equipment), the recall may not apply to all vehicles of this type. For more detailed information on possible recalls for your vehicle, please contact an authorised workshop.
