Mitsubishi Motors North America (Mitsubishi) is recalling certain replacement lithium-ion batteries installed on certain 2012 Mitsubishi i-MiEV vehicles. The batteries were manufactured December 18, 2012, through December 21, 2012. The batteries may have internal contamination possibly causing reduced voltage. Also, the batteries may also develop a short-circuit during charging.
