Mercedes-Benz USA – Software Error May Deactivate Control Panel

Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2022 EQS 450 and EQS 580 vehicles. A software error may cause the overhead control panel to become permanently deactivated.

Consequence Summary A deactivated overhead control panel will not allow an occupant to manually contact emergency personnel, delaying emergency responders and increasing the risk of injury.
Corrective Action Dealers will update the overhead control panel software, free of charge. All vehicles have been remedied. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372.
