Mercedes-Benz USA – Driver’s Front Air Bag May Not Deploy Properly

Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2020 GLS 580 vehicles. The air bag control unit software may be programmed incorrectly, which can cause the driver’s air bag to deploy improperly.

Corrective Action Dealers will replace the air bag control unit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on October 29, 2021. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372.
