Land Rover North America – Left-Side Knee Air Bag May Deploy Improperly

Jaguar Land Rover North America (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2020 Range Rover Evoque vehicles. The cover for the left-side lower knee air bag may come loose, allowing the air bag cushion to unfold.

Consequence Summary An improperly folded air bag may not deploy as intendedeasing the risk of injury in a crash.
Corrective Action Dealers will replace the left-side lower knee air bag module, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 11, 2025. Owners may contact Land Rover's customer service at 800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is N979. This recall expands and replaces previous NHTSA recall 21V-168.
