General Motors – Right Front Lower Control Arm May Fracture

General Motors (GM) is recalling certain 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV vehicles. The right front lower control arm may contain a manufacturing defect that can cause it to fracture.

Consequence Summary A lower control arm fracture can cause loss of vehicle controleasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action Dealers will inspect and replace the right front lower control arm as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 13, 2024. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is N242448540.
