Chrysler (FCA US) – Windshield May Detach During A Crash/FMVSS 212

Chrysler (FCA US) is recalling certain 2024 Pacifica and Voyager vehicles. The windshield may not have been properly bonded to the vehicle, allowing it to detach during a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 212, “Windshield Mounting.”

Consequence Summary A windshield that detaches from the vehicle during a crash can increase the risk of injury.
Corrective Action Dealers will replace the windshield, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 17, 2024. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is 25B.
