Chrysler (FCA US) – Engine May Shut Down

Chrysler (FCA US) is recalling certain 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles equipped with 2.0L PHEV engines. The engine may shut down due to a loss of communication between the transmission control module and the hybrid control processor.

Corrective Action Dealers will update the vehicle control software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 27, 2023. Owners may contact FCA US customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US's number for this recall is 65A.
