Winnebago Industries – Incorrect Tire Inflation Info on Labels/Part 567

Winnebago Industries (Winnebago) is recalling certain model year 2012-2016 Winnebago Era recreational vehicles manufactured November 11, 2010, to July 20, 2015. The certification label affixed to the vehicles provide an incorrect front tire inflation pressure. Accordingly, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, “Certification.”

Consequence Summary Incorrect tire pressure information could cause an owner or operator to under or over inflate the tires, increasing the risk of a tire failure and a crash.
Corrective Action Winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will provide new certification labels with the correct tire inflation pressure specifications, free of charge. The recall began on September 18, 2015. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-3535.
