Winnebago Industries (Winnebago) is recalling certain model year 2014-2016 Winnebago Tour motorhomes manufactured May 25, 2013, to November 25, 2015, and Itasca Ellipse motorhomes manufactured May 25, 2013, to November 18, 2015. The throttle pedal position sensor on the affected vehicles may not return to zero, causing the engine brake to suddenly not activate as expected, reducing the vehicle’s deceleration ability.

Corrective Action | Daimler Trucks North America has notified owners, and dealers, will replace the throttle pedal, free of charge. An interim notification was distributed to owners on July 8, 2016.
