Vermeer Manufacturing Company (Vermeer) is recalling certain model year 2012-2013 R9X12T trailers manufactured May 25, 2012, through May 3, 2013. The air-brake booster valve was installed incorrectly, allowing the brake application time to exceed the permissable amount. Thus, these vehicles fail to conform to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 121, “Air Brake Systems.”
