CERTAIN TRANSIT BUSES FAIL TO COMPLY TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 217, ‘BUS EMERGENCY EXITS AND WINDOW RETENTION AND RELEASE.’ THE WRONG LABEL WAS PLACED AT THE PASSENGER ENTRANCE/EXIT AND WAS NOT SPECIFICALLY INDICATING WHERE THE EMERGENCY DOOR RELEASE MECHANISM WAS LOCATED.
