ON CERTAIN AMBULANCES ORIGINALLY SOLD IN OR CURRENTLY REGISTERED IN THE STATES OF CONNECTICUT, DELAWARE, ILLINOIS, INDIANA, IOWA, MAINE, MARYLAND, MASSACHUSETTS, MICHIGAN, MINNESOTA, MISSOURI, NEW HAMPSHIRE, NEW JERSEY, NEW YORK, OHIO, PENNSYLVANIA, RHODE ISLAND, VERMONT, WEST VIRGINIA, WISCONSIN, AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA. CORROSION MAY OCCUR ON THE ANL 400 AMP FUSE DUE TO EXPOSURE TO CALCIUM CHLORIDE ELEMENTS THAT ARE USED IN THE “SALT STATES” DURING THE WINTER SEASON.

Consequence Summary THE DETERIORATION OF THE FUSE CAN CAUSE A DISRUPTION OF POWER RESULTING IN LOSS OF SERVICE IN THE PATIENT COMPARTMENT.
Corrective Action RETROFIT KITS AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE MAILED TO CUSTOMERS FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JANUARY 8, 2008. OWNERS MAY CONTACT WHEELED COACH AT 800-932-7077.
