ON CERTAIN TRUCKS, A LOCKING TAB IN THE HOOD LOCK CYLINDER WAS IMPROPERLY LOCATED PREVENTING THE CYLINDER LOCK FROM ENGAGING. THE HOOD LOCK CYLINDER IS DESIGNED TO SUPPORT THE HOOD ONCE IT IS RAISED FOR ACCESS TO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT.
