Consequence Summary | IF A LOSS OF AIR PRESSURE OCCURS IN EITHER FRONT OR REAR BRAKE SYSTEM, THE RESULT OF THESE OMISSIONS IS THAT THE CRUISE CONTROL, IF TURNED ON, WOULD NOT DISENGAGE WHEN THE SERVICE BRAKE WAS APPLIED AND THE BRAKE LIGHTS WOULD NOT ILLUMINATE, INCREASING THE POTENTIAL FOR A VEHICLE ACCIDENT. |
Corrective Action | DEALERS WILL INSTALL A SECOND STOP LIGHT SWITCH (WIRED IN PARALLEL) AND A SECOND CRUISE CONTROL DUMP VALVE SWITCH (WIRED IN SERIES) INTO THE TREADLE VALVE. |
