Navistar (Navistar) is recalling certain 2018-2019 IC Bus CE and 2019 IC Bus RE school buses. The release mechanism on the emergency windows may be difficult to open in an emergency situation. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 217, “Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release.”
