Navistar (Navistar) is recalling certain 2024-2025 IC Bus CE school buses. The brake lights, in certain conditions, may not illuminate when the brake pedal is depressed, due to a software error. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, “Air Brake Systems.”

Corrective Action | Dealers will update the vehicle software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 24, 2024. Owners may contact Navistar customer service at 1-800-448-7825. Navistar's number for this recall is 24508. |
