Consequence Summary A COMPLETE FRACTURE OF A FRAME TOWER CAN CAUSE A LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL AND POTENTIALLY RESULT IN A VEHICLE CRASH.
Corrective Action DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE WELDS ON BOTH FRAME TOWERS AND REPAIR IF NECESSARY. A GUSSET REINFORCEMENT WILL BE ADDED TO STRENGTHEN THE MAXIMUM STRESS POINT OF EACH FRAME TOWER.
