NORMAL HEAT EMANATING FROM THE EXHAUST PIPE MAY CAUSE THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFT LINKAGE TO DEFORM. THE EFFORT REQUIRED TO OPERATE THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFT CONTROL LEVER MAY INCREASE IF THE LINKAGE BINDS DUE TO THE DEFORMATION.
