EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION: ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES INSTALLED ON A MACK REFUSE TRUCK. THE ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE (ECM) IN THESE ENGINES CONTAIN A MANUFACTURING DEFECT WHICH RESULTS IN INTERMITTENT ELECTRICAL CONTACT AND CAUSES INCORRECT ELECTRONIC SIGNALS TO BE SENT TO THE ENGINE THROTTLE CONTROL.
