Mercedes-Benz USA – Sunroof May Close Unexpectedly/FMVSS 118

Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2020 GLS580 vehicles. Due to a software error, the sunroof may close unexpectedly when the “car wash mode” is activated. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 118, “Power-operated Window Systems.”
