Mercedes-Benz USA – Driver’s Seat Fastener Bolt May Fail

Mercedes-Benz USA. (MBUSA) is recalling one 2020 GLE 350 vehicle. One of four bolts securing the driver’s seat may not have been installed correctly and may fail.

Consequence Summary If a driver's seat fastener bolt fails, the seat may not be properly secured, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
Corrective Action MBUSA will notify the owner, and a dealer will inspect the driver's seat fastening bolts, tightening them as necessary, free of charge. The recall began August 31, 2020. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. MBUSA's number for this recall is 2020080010.
