KYMCO (KYMCO USA) is recalling certain model year 2016 K-Pipe motorcycles manufactured March 1, 2016, to May 25, 2016. In the affected models, the gear shift pattern was assembled in a reverse sequence when compared to the standard setup. As such, these motorcycles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 123, “Motorcycle Controls and Displays.”
