Hino Motors Sales U.S.A. (Hino Motors) is recalling certain model year 2012-2015 XJC and XFC vehicles manufactured February 17, 2011, to October 31, 2014. The brake warning lamp that is supposed to illuminate in the event of a loss of brake fluid pressure or that there is low brake fluid may not operate correctly due to a software programming issue. Thus, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards No. 105, “Hydraulic and Electric Brake Systems.”
