Ford Motor Company – Windshield Wiper Motor May Fail

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Maverick, 2023 Ford Bronco Sport, and 2023 Mustang Mach-E vehicles. The front windshield wiper motor may become inoperative, causing the wipers to fail.

Consequence Summary Inoperative windshield wipers can reduce visibility in certain conditionseasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action Dealers will inspect and replace the windshield wiper motor as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 26, 2024. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 24S51.
