THESE TIRES DO NOT COMPLY WITH FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 109 “NEW PNEUMATIC TIRES,” SECTION 5.3 TIRE STRENGTH “PLUNGER TEST.”

Consequence Summary CASING FAILURE CAN OCCUR IF TIRE IS LOADED TO THE MAX.
Corrective Action OWNERS WILL BE INSTRUCTED TO GO TO ANY DEALER OF THEIR CHOICE THAT CAN PROVIDE REPLACEMENT TIRES FREE OF CHARGE. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN MARCH 1, 2001. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT FALKEN CUSTOMER SERVICE AT 1-800-723-2553.
