Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) is recalling certain 2021 Thomas Built Saf-T-Liner C2 Jouley electric school buses. If the service brake pedal is pressed and then released while the parking brake is engaged, the parking brake may release unexpectedly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 121, “Air Brake Systems.”
