Chrysler (FCA US) – Frame Stud May Puncture Fuel Tank

Chrysler (FCA US) is recalling certain 2020-2022 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. A stud on the frame assembly may puncture the fuel tank in a crash, which can result in a fuel leak.

Consequence Summary A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, remove the frame stud and apply paint, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 6, 2023. Owners may contact FCA US customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US's number for this recall is 28A.
