Chrysler (FCA US) – Driver’s Side Air Bag Mounting Bolt Loose/Missing

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2015 Dodge Challenger vehicles manufactured March 28, 2015, to April 1, 2015. In the affected vehicles, the driver’s side air bag inflated curtain (SABIC) may have a loose or missing rear mounting bolt.

Consequence Summary A loose or missing SABIC rear mounting bolt may alter the air bag inflated curtain's deployment, increasing the risk of occupant injury in the event of a side impact or roll-over crash.
Corrective Action Chrysler has notified owners, and dealers will inspect and repair the vehicles, as needed, free of charge. The recall began on May 28, 2015. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is R22.
