CERTAIN CATERPILLAR C7 AND C9 DIESEL ENGINES INSTALLED AS ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT IN TRUCKS AND SCHOOL BUSES. A FUEL PUMP FAILURE WILL DILUTE THE ENGINE OIL WITH FUEL AND CAUSE LOSS OF THROTTLE CONTROL AND EXCESSIVE SMOKE.

VEHICLES WILL BE REPAIRED AT NO COST TO THE OWNER. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING AUGUST 2007.
