EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION: HEAVY DUTY BRAKE FLUID, 12 OUNCE BOTTLES PACKAGED BY WARREN OIL COMPANY BETWEEN JULY 13 AND JULY 14, 1999. IN EFFORTS TO IMPROVE THE COLOR OF THE BRAKE FLUID, A LOWER AMOUNT OF AMINE WAS USED IN THE INHIBITOR PACKAGE, WHICH THEN RESULTED IN A LOWER PH. THESE UNITS OF BRAKE FLUID DOES NOT COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 116, “MOTOR VEHICLE BRAKE FLUIDS.”
