UD TRUCKS CORPORATION – HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT/FMVSS 108

UD TRUCKS IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011 UD1800, UD2000, UD2300, UD2600, AND UD3300 MEDIUM DUTY TRUCKS MANUFACTURED FROM JULY 22, 2010 THROUGH NOVEMBER 29, 2010. THE VISUAL OPTICAL AIMING HEADLAMPS AND THE LOW BEAM HORIZONTAL ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM WERE NOT ADEQUATELY SECURED TO PREVENT ADJUSTMENT AFTER MANUFACTURE. THEREFORE, THESE VEHICLES FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, “LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT.”
