Trans Tech Bus – ROOF BODY PANEL JOINTS/OMITTED ADHESIVE

TRANSTECH BUS (TCI) IS RECALLING CERTAIN MFSAB SCHOOL BUSES FOR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE JOINT STRENGTH REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 221, “SCHOOL BUS BODY JOINT STRENGTH.” THE AFFECTED BUSES DO NOT HAVE THE PROPER STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE ON CERTAIN INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR ROOF BODY PANEL JOINTS. TCI WILL PROVIDE THE SPECIFIC BUS MODELS BY MODEL YEAR AND DATES OF PRODUCTION ONCE THEY HAVE DETERMINED WHICH BUSES ARE AFFECTED BY THE NONCOMPLAINCE.
