Trans-Air Manufacturing Corp. – EVAPORATORS/POSSIBLE OVERHEATING

TRANS/AIR IS RECALLING CERTAIN TA73 EVAPORATORS, P/NOS. 2021173, 2021174, 2021257, 2021257, AND 2021515, PRODUCED FROM AUGUST 2, 1999 THROUGH MAY 15, 2007. THESE EVAPORATORS WERE SOLD AS AFTERMARKET EQUIPMENT AND INSTALLED AS ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT IN SCHOOL AND TRANSIT TYPE COMMERCIAL BUSES. IT IS POSSIBLE TO INSTALL THE UNIT INCORRECTLY, CAUSING A SHORT OF THE “LOW TO MEDIUM SPEED” WIRE TO GROUND.
