Terex South Dakota – Suspension Air Bag Inadvertently Inflate

Terex South Dakota (Terex) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 C5000, C6000, General 80, RMX, TM100, and TM125 aerial devices, and digger derrick lifts installed on trucks manufactured August 4, 2015, to February 16, 2016. The suspension circuit can inflate the suspension air bags on the affected vehicles if the Master/PTO switch or ignition is turned off in the cab while the boom is in the raised position. This can cause the frame to rise, lifting the outriggers from the ground.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
