Strategic Sports, Ltd. (Strategic Sports) is recalling certain Leather Up XElement helmets, part numbers ST-559-12GB and 11FB, in sizes L, XL, and XXL, manufactured June 11, 2013, to August 30, 2013. The affected helmets may not adequately protect a user in the event of a crash. As such, these helmets fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 218, “Motorcycle Helmets.”
