Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America – PASSENGER SIDE SEAT BELT BUCKLE/FMVSS 208

MITSUBISHI FUSO (MFTA) IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2012 FEC52, FEC72, AND FEC92 TRUCKS MANUFACTURED FROM FEBRUARY 10, 2011, THROUGH APRIL 8, 2011, FOR FAILING TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 208 ?OCCUPANT CRASH PROTECTION.? DURING ASSEMBLY, INCORRECT PASSENGER?S SIDE SEAT BELT BUCKLES WERE INSTALLED. THE PASSENGER?S SIDE SEAT BELT TONGUE WILL NOT ENGAGE ITS BUCKLE CORRECTLY.
