EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION: AXLE ASSEMBLIES PRODUCED FROM JUNE 14 THROUGH JULY 15, 1999; FROM OCTOBER 4 THROUGH NOVEMBER 14, 1999; AND FROM MAY 15 THROUGH JUNE 23, 2000, WHICH MAY HAVE BEEN MANUFACTURED WITH TRW MODEL 20-EDL BALL SOCKETS. THE TIE ROD BALL-SOCKET BEARINGS HAVE A BELOW SPECIFICATION CASE DEPTH AND/OR HARDNESS WHICH CAN LEAD TO PREMATURE DETERIORATION OF THE SOCKET IN SOME APPLICATIONS.
