EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION: MERITOR BRAND 12 1/4″ “Q” BRAKE SHOE ASSEMBLIES INSTALLED ON ARVINMERITOR TRAILER AXLES MANUFACTURED FROM DECEMBER 17, 2001, THROUGH JANUARY 28, 2002. THE AFFECTED BRAKE SHOES BEAR LOT STAMP NUMBERS 501031, 501034, AND 501070. THE WELDS ATTACHING THE BRAKE SHOE WEB TO ITS TABLE DID NOT PENETRATE THE METAL COMPLETELY.
