KALMAR IS RECALLING 612 MY 1997-1007 OTTAWA 30, 50, AND 60 DOT/EPA TERMINAL TRACTORS EQUIPPED WITH SUSPENSIONED REAR AXLES OR “OTTO-RIDE” REAR SUSPENSIONS FOR FAILING TO CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 106, ‘BRAKE HOSES.’ THE AIR BRAKE HOSE ASSEMBLY WAS INCORRECTLY MANUFACTURED.
