Continental Tire the Americas – Cracks in Tread Grooves/FMVSS 119

Continental Tire the Americas (Continental Tire) is recalling certain ContiScoot tires. Cracks may develop in the tread grooves longer than 3/16 inch. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 119, “New Pneumatic Tires-Other Than Passenger Cars.” Please refer to the 573 report for specific tire size information.
