Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations – FMVSS 119/SPEED RESTRICTION MARKING

BFNT IS RECALLING 184 FIRESTONE BRAND FS400 TIRES, SIZE 315/80R22.5 LOAD RANGE L, COMMERCIAL TRUCK TIRES MANUFACTURED BETWEEN JUNE 15 AND JUNE 28, 2008. THESE TIRES WERE NOT BRANDED WITH THE MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT RATE WHICH DOES NOT CONFORM TO THE MARKING REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 119, “NEW PNEUMATIC TIRES FOR MOTOR VEHICLES WITH A GVWR OF MORE THAN 4,536 KILOGRAMS (10,000 POUNDS) AND MOTORCYCLES.”
